With 30 years experience and a comprehensive range of modern machinery and tools, I can turn your dreams into reality.

If you go to the gallery page you can see the variety of work I do and the high standard of finish which I always strive to achieve.

Where possible I use recycled or salvaged New Zealand native timbers; typically totara, rimu, matai and kauri. I also use American plantation grown oak, furniture grade pinus radiata and other timbers as requested.

My preferred method of finishing is oil. A time consuming but satisfying process which enhances the natural colours and grain patterns of the timber. I use an oil which is eco-friendly (vegetable turpentine base), and sets much like paint to give a durable non-sticky finish. Every customer gets a tin of oil to maintain their furniture, which just looks better and better with the passage of time and usage. If you prefer a sprayed lacquer finish, then I can provide that service too. I carry a range of traditional stains to colour-match your existing furniture.

I am happy to consider any commission, from an idea, a photograph or a drawing. Maybe you have an empty space on a wall somewhere and you'd like me to suggest a piece to fill that space.

I use high quality hardware; for instance ball bearing drawer runners, traditional or modern hinges; nothing is too much trouble. I can match furniture to your villa or bungalow, or your modern apartment.

When your furniture is finished I deliver and install in your house (cost included in the quote), unless you are far away or overseas. In which case I will still make sure delivery is completed to your satisfaction.

I have the best job in the world and making my customers happy makes me happy too!
